Superkraft Strengthens Its Ghent Creative Roots with Three New Talents

Casimir Desmet – a creative jack-of-all-trades in sound and image

Casimir combines visual art and music in a unique creative profile. After studying graphic design and earning a master’s degree in Printmaking & Drawing at Sint-Lucas, he moved into the world of film and video production, where he wrote scripts and helped bring productions to life.

At the same time, he built an international reputation as a DJ and composer under the name KRTM. He has performed everywhere from Australia to South America, and at major Belgian festivals such as Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop, and Dour. His favorite format: live performances with improvisation.

At Superkraft, he now merges his passion for sound and motion: “Superkraft is an agency in tune with everything that moves – from film productions to radio spots and activations. Their openness to new technologies such as AI fascinates me immensely.”

Julie Meirlaen – a hands-on account with a love for creativity

Julie’s fascination with advertising began during her Communication Sciences studies at UGent. Through an experience at BAS, she discovered the advertising world, while her years at improvisational theater BIL sharpened her instinct for people and stories.

After an internship at Wunderman Thompson (now VML) and two years as an account at LDV United, Julie is now returning to her Ghent roots with Superkraft.

Luna Van Hoye – after a great internship, now diving into the world of communications

With Portuguese roots, Luna studied Communication Management in Ghent and completed an internship at Superkraft. She impressed with her motivation and determination, and now joins the team as Account Executive.
