Modern cars are looking more and more alike. The same shapes, the same colours and ever less character. They still take us from A to B, but they excite us less and less.
Fortunately, at the Autoworld Museum Brussels, the national motoring museum, it’s a different story. Its collection is brimming with cars that have real character, stories to tell and enough personality to still turn heads today.
\nThat’s why, to mark the museum’s 40th anniversary, Superkraft has taken a few unique pieces from its collections and put them on the road in Brussels.
In collaboration with Taxis Verts, three of the museum’s iconic cars have been transformed into real taxis: a 1966 Ford Mustang, a 1991 Ferrari Testarossa and a Cadillac with a royal history. When booking a ride just like any other, passengers suddenly found themselves faced with a genuine piece of motoring history.
At the wheel were staff members from Autoworld Museum Brussels themselves, who recounted the history of each of these iconic cars during the journey. A simple taxi ride was thus transformed into a genuine museum experience.
